Ms. Sugg is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, District of Columbia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her areas of practice include Social Security Disability, Guardianship, Estate Administration, Personal Injury, Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect, Commercial Litigation and Appeals.

Why did you choose to become an attorney? I chose to become an attorney because I can advocate for people who have a problem and need someone to speak or act on their behalf. I see law as a helping profession, and I like interacting with clients and helping them structure their affairs to best protect them.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy reading, gardening, family activities, our pets, yoga and swimming.
What is your favorite landmark in Winston-Salem? I particularly like Old Salem, where I lived with my family near the square for almost a year.
What is your favorite landmark in North Carolina and why? I like the beach, because I grew up near the ocean.
What is your most memorable trip?My most memorable trips occurred when I visited my college-age children when they studied abroad–in Germany, Scotland, and Australia
What are the community activities in which you participate? I am active on a committee supporting the Academically Gifted programs in the public schools. have also served on the Board of the Medical Alliance.
What is your most memorable client experience? I argued our case before the North Carolina Supreme Court.
