What have you enjoyed about being an attorney? I enjoy the interaction with clients. I have had the opportunity to represent many people from all walks of life. Everyone has a unique story. This is what makes the practice of law exciting and different every day.
Why did you choose to work for Craige Jenkins? Craige Jenkins is a full service law firm with an excellent complement of very capable attorneys. Our law firm is large enough to handle all legal matters but small enough to for all clients receive both personal and professional attention.
What is your favorite joke? Why did the chicken cross the road? To show the possum that it could be done!
What are your hobbies? I enjoy running every morning (I am certainly not setting any land speed records) and have adopted a dog earlier this year from the Humane Society. My dog now runs with me and she has become my personal trainer! I also enjoy tinkering with my 1961 MGA (a British sports car).
What are the community activities in which you participate? I serve on the Board of Samaritan Ministries which is the homeless shelter and soup kitchen in downtown Winston-Salem. We just built a new building and moved in about 6 months ago. It serves a tremendous need in our community and it is open 365 days a year. I welcome all to come serve a hot meal or spend the night as a volunteer. It will be one of the most rewarding experiences you can have.
What activities do you do associated with the NC Bar Association? I am the past president of the Forsyth County Bar Association. I am also currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Forsyth County Bar Association and I am chair of the Professionalism Committee.
