Q&A
Why is Craige Jenkins the right firm for you? Craige Jenkins is comprised of attorneys and staff who really care about our clients. Our areas of expertise complement each other.
Most memorable trip? My entire family – husband, sons and their wives, parents, and sisters with their husbands and children – went to Hawaii for a week. The memories we created while enjoying the beauty of Hawaii will always be with me.
Favorite Winston-Salem landmark? The teapot in Old Salem. When I was moving to Winston Salem in 1998, I remember seeing the teapot and thinking how friendly it seemed to be – not flashy or imposing – just a warm, and unique, symbol of the community.
Favorite North Carolina landmark? Mount Airy (if you consider a town as a landmark). I like to walk down Main Street, eat at The Snappy Lunch, get ice cream at the Bluebird Diner, and look at the various tributes to Andy Griffith. I am transported back to a quieter time, when people didn’t lock their doors, and they would sit on their porch swings in the evening and discuss their day.
Pro Bono activities? I represent pro bono clients referred to me by Legal Aid, especially domestic violence, family law, and consumer matters. I also volunteer for Wills for Heroes and various programs where the public can call in for free legal advice.
