About Bill

Bill is admitted to practice in all North Carolina Courts, each of the federal district courts in North Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.  His principal practice is civil litigation, particularly disputes involving wills, estates, trusts, and fiduciary duties.

He is a member of the litigation law section of the North Carolina Bar Association, as well as a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  He serves as a guardian ad litem for children in the custody of DSS and has represented plaintiffs in domestic violence cases pro bono.  Bill serves on the board of Twin City Track Club.

Bill enjoys competitive distance running and reading non-fiction and historical fiction.  Of his most memorable trip, Bill says this: The U.S. government sent me to Okinawa, Japan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore in 1971–1972 — at no charge.
