Bankruptcy
We represent debtors in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. A Chapter 7 bankruptcy can be very beneficial to a debtor that has significant debt with little income and assets. A Chapter 13 bankruptcy (also known as a wage earner plan) lasts from 3 to 5 years, and can work for individuals who have suffered loss of income and have fallen behind in payments. A Chapter 13 allows individuals to “catch up” and prevent homes and other assets from being lost. Prior to filing a bankruptcy petition, we take the time to complete a thorough analysis of the financial situation and make a recommendation as to the best way to deal with individual circumstances.
