About Ann
Ann is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Her practice areas include social security disability, personal injury, nursing home abuse and neglect, guardianship, estate administration, commercial litigation, and appeals. Ann has argued before the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Ann has served on the Board of the Medical Alliance and on a committee supporting the Academically Gifted programs in public schools.
She enjoys reading, gardening, family activities, her family’s pets, yoga, swimming, and the beach. On why she chose to become an attorney, Ann says this: I chose to become an attorney because I can advocate for people who have a problem and need someone to speak or act on their behalf. I see law as a helping profession, and I like interacting with clients and helping them structure their affairs to best protect them.
Education
- Ann received her B.S. from Cornell University in 1977 with honors and received her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law in 1980, receiving the Vasti Burr Award.
