Ellis B. “Bo” Drew, III

Bo is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in North Carolina and South Carolina. His practice areas include civil litigation, commercial litigation, construction law, personal injury, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, and nursing home abuse and neglect. Bo has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts.
He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar and has given frequent lectures and seminars.
In his free time, Bo enjoys golf, college football games, and reading. Of his most memorable client experience, Bo says this: My most memorable client experience was the Lowe’s Motor Speedway pedestrian bridge collapse. I represented several very severely injured folks who were crossing a pedestrian bridge from a parking lot to Lowe’s Motor Speedway when it suddenly collapsed. The cases were both interesting and challenging. At the same time, I became deeply personally involved as I spent extensive time with the clients.
Education
- Bo received his B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1981, cum laude, and received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University in 1984, graduating as a Burks Scholar.
